Well it has been a little while since we have had something solid to report for Heroes, but here is a little casting update. Jamie Hector (The Wire) has confirmed in multiple reports that he has filmed a couple episodes for Volume 3: Villains and will be playing a character named Benjamin Knox Washington.
Hector can briefly be seen in the Volume 3: Villains sneak peek in a couple of quick flashes and appears to have an ability to perhaps liquefy. Is he another new villain working with The Company or a Hero that they are after??

These days you’re working on Heroes. That must be very different from working on The Wire…
My character’s name on Heroes is Benjamin Knox Washington. I can’t really disclose much about him, but I can tell you it’s a lot of fun. So many special effects — and it all winds up looking so real. The set is different — it’s warmer outside, obviously — and in Baltimore, since most of us are not from Baltimore, we all hang out and go to dinner after shooting. We’re like a family.

How has the writer's strike affected your career?
Well, actually I shot a couple episodes of "Heroes" that unfortunately have not been seen yet as a result of the strike. Also, I think the writer's strike's impact on the award shows will definitely affect some great films. Great movies that aren't necessarily going to bring in huge audiences at the theaters really rely on things like the Golden Globes to help get the word out. The Great Debaters for example is such a great film and an incredible story that deserves to be acknowledged.
Tell me more about your role on "Heroes."
My character's name is Benjamin "Knox" Washington. I can't say too much about it though.

To: Peewee: That was a man who could turn into water (think hydroman from spiderman), seen in one of the graphic novels.
i think its another phaser since DL's hand was covered him blood when he killed linderman.
why does the black man always have to be a phaser?
I don't see how DL having blood on his hands is related to either screenshot?

I think knox power is 'a combination of all'.
I am still trying to understand if his script refers to him as a empath,intuitive aptitude, or some other type of villian.
Oh yeah, Sophie (company employee with red hair) finds adam.
Jamie Hector is awesome, I can't wait to see him join the cast. I don't think his power will be to liquify, he is too hard for that. It has to be something deadly
